An Introduction to Project Management is a course that will introduce course participants to the field of project management. This course will describe projects and explain how projects are different from ongoing business activities. This course will identify how projects are selected and provide an understanding of the life cycle for completing a project. Projects are completed by individuals working together as a team. This course will identify the individuals involved in a project. This course will identify and describe the different approaches or methods that can be used for completing projects. Finally, this course will activities that must occur for each different project approach to successfully complete the project.

NOTE – If you intend to sit for the PMI CAPM exam, this course has been approved to provide 23 Project Management Contact Hours that are required to apply for the exam.
