All projects have some degree of uncertainty, and the project manager must create a plan to deal with all uncertainty. Project Uncertainty and Risk Management is a course that will review the "uncertainty" that exists in all projects and the risk management approaches that can be implemented to minimize uncertainty. This course will review the uncertainty performance domain and define the techniques for controlling uncertainty in projects. This course will describe the risk limits for an organization and explain how this relates to project risk. This course will define strategies that can be used to deal with threats and opportunities. This course will identify the purpose of project risk management. Finally, this course will review the processes that can be used by project managers to identify, analyze, and plan risk responses.
This course has been registered with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and provides 3 Ways of Working PDU and 3 RMP PDU for those with the PMI_RMP® certification.
