PMI’s recommendation for passing the PMP Exam is to practice the exam experience. The practice exams will do this. You will be taking full-length practice exams. You have access to six, full length practice exams. These are all timed and they are balanced exams. You’re goal is to score 90% or higher on all of these practice exams.
When answering practicing questions, focus on understanding why an answer is correct, evaluating multiple plausible options, and applying project management principles to these scenario-based questions.
Remember, the PMP exam is not a memorization exam. It is an application exam so you need to think like a project manager. When answering practicing questions, focus on understanding why an answer is correct, evaluating multiple plausible options, and applying project management principles to these scenario-based questions. Choose the best answer based on the material in the PMP exam prep course and other PMI published documents. Remember, you should NOT be answering questions based solely on your experience.
These Practice Exams will help you apply what you have learned and build the stamina necessary to succeed in a four-hour exam. Take the practice exams so you get a feel for a 4 hour exam and the types of questions you will see on your PMP exam. Good Luck!
