All projects must be planned before that can be completed. Project planning involves laying out a roadmap that guides the project from initiation through execution and closure. Complete project planning starts by defining project objectives and concludes by closing the project. Complete project planning is a course that will review the entire planning process. It will identify the nine steps for project planning. The following areas will be discussed throughout this course – project scope management, schedule management, risk management, communication management, cost management, quality management, monitoring and controlling and project closing. This course will identify what must be complete for each of steps for project planning. The planning steps identified throughout this course can be applied to all project approaches from traditional or predictive to agile.
