Earning PMI® PDUs to Fulfill the PMI Talent Triangle Requirements®
A requirement when renewing a PMI certification is to fulfill the requirements of the PMI Talent Triangle. The PDUnow Talent Triangle PDU Bundle will fulfill the PMI Talent Triangle Requirements. PMI® Approved Authorized Training Partner (ATP)®
We know there are many factors to consider when selecting a PDU Sponsor. NetCBT, which is the company that runs the PDUnow site, is a PMI® Authorized Training Partner (ATP)®. This section provides detailed information about our PMI® approval.
PMI ATP: 3640
NetCBT (the company that runs the PDUnow site) has been reviewed and approved as a Project Management Institute Authorized Training Partner (ATP)®. We have been working with PMI® since 2011. Our company renews our ATP approval every year with PMI®.
NetCBT is a Global ATP Provider. Because of our Global provider status, PMI® credential holders around the world may use PDUnow courses to earn PMI PDUs.
All courses on the PDUnow site are registered in the PMI CCR system. Take courses with confidence that your PDUs will be accepted for your credential renewal. To date, thousands of PDU claims have been successfully processed and accepted for PDUnow courses.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Our company is a PMI ATP® (Authorized Training Partner). We have been working with PMI since 2011. Our company renews our ATP approval every year with PMI®.
Yes. All courses on the PDUnow site are approved by PMI and registered in the PMI CCR system before we make the courses available on the PDUnow site. This means that all PDUs earned by completing PDUnow courses will be accepted by PMI. To date, over 14,238 PDU claims have been successfully processed and accepted for PDUnow courses.
There are two types of courses offered in the PDUnow site – PDF (text) courses and video courses. All PDF courses require passing an exam at the end of the course to earn PMI PDUs.
Video courses and recorded webinars do not require passing an exam. You will be earning PDUs for the time you spend watch videos included in these courses.
Online PDF courses require reading the course material and passing an online exam. You can download and print the exam questions and have them in front of you while reading the course material. You will also get unlimited attempts to pass the course exams.
Online video courses and recorded webinars require watching the videos in each course. These courses do not require passing an exam. Once you have watched the videos in these courses, the PDUnow will automatically generate a certificate of completion.
You have two options for reporting PDUs to PMI.
First, PDUnow can report your PDUs to PMI. To do this, you must enter your PMI ID number (not your PMP credential number) on the My Account page in your account. Notice how I am emphasizing the PMI ID number and not your PMP credential number. We cannot report for you if we do not have your PMI ID number.
Second, all users are able to report their own PDUs to PMI. This is recommended if you need your PDUs reported faster than once a week. You can report PDUs as soon as you complete a course. To self-report PDUs, log into your account on PMI.org, go to your dashboard and click the Report PDUs button. When self reporting PDUs, we recommend using the PDU Claim Codes that are printed on each certificate of completion. Using this code to report PDUs to PMI is fast and super easy. All the necessary data will populate when you enter the claim code for each course. The only other information that you will need to add is the course start date (just estimate this date) and the course completion date.
