Corporate Cabling Systems – Testing, Troubleshooting, and Certification is a training course that describes how to test and certify that all telecommunications (twisted pair and optical fiber) cable used for voice and high-speed data applications are correctly installed. This training course will describe the different types of testers that are used for both balanced twisted pair and optical fiber cable. This course will define the field tests that are required for balanced twisted pair cable and optical fiber cables. The test specifications will be identified for each type of telecommunications cable. This course will define testing procedures for performing certification tests for both copper and optical fiber cables. Finally, this course will provide information on correcting failed cables.
