All PDF courses require passing an exam at the end of the course to earn PMI PDUs.
Video courses and recorded webinars do not require passing an exam. You will be earning PDUs for the time you spend watch videos included in these courses.
Online PDF courses require reading the course material and passing an online exam. You can download and print the exam questions and have them in front of you while reading the course material. You will also get unlimited attempts to pass the course exams.
Online video courses and recorded webinars require watching the videos in each course. These courses do not require passing an exam. Once you have watched the videos in these courses, the PDUnow will automatically generate a certificate of completion.
You have two options for reporting PDUs to PMI.
First, we will report your PDUs to PMI. This is a service that we provide FREE of charge to all PDUnow customers.
Second, all users are able to report their own PDUs to PMI. This is recommended if you need your PDUs reported faster than once a week. You can report PDUs as soon as you complete a course. To self-report PDUs, log into your account on PMI.org, go to your dashboard and click the Report PDUs button. When self reporting PDUs, we recommend using the PDU Claim Codes that are printed on each certificate of completion. Using this code to report PDUs to PMI is fast and super easy. All the necessary data will populate when you enter the claim code for each course. The only other information that you will need to add is the course start date (just estimate this date) and the course completion date. Here is a page on the PDUnow site that describes the process of claiming PDUs to PMI. This page includes a short video at the bottom that demonstrates the process.
