Course Individually
Data security is essential for delivering a successful project because all project applications and project data must remain secure. Many project managers work on software development projects and addition to relying on project management applications. Applications that are compromised will put both user information and project data at risk of being compromised, stolen or unavailable when needed. With the increasing reliance on software applications in the project ecosystem, ensuring that these applications are secure has become more critical than ever.
Securing applications and project data is a course that will describe the growing need to safeguarding applications, user data, and protecting them against cyberattacks. This course will identify the need for application security to address potential vulnerabilities. This course will identify common software exploits and vulnerabilities including: zero day exploits, buffer overflows, SQL injections, Cross-site scripting, and remote code execution exploits. This course will describe secure coding practices and best practices that should be implemented by project teams. Finally, this course will describe application security testing practices that should be used by project teams for software development projects.
